Hook - Daiichi #16
Thread - UTC FL. Fire Orange waxed 70
Ribbing - UTX XS Gold Wire
Thorax - Hareline Dubbing Ice Dub Golden Brown
Hackle - Partridge

Start thread 1 ½ hook eyes back from eye. Tie in gold wire back, just beyond hook point. Wrap thread back to starting point. Make 4-5 turns, evenly spaced out with the gold wire and tie and trim the excess. Dub a SMALL thorax. Tie in the partridge by the tips. Make 2 complete wraps with the finishing warp being away from the fly, take 2 thread wraps over and through the partridge to hold it in place. Whip finish a small head and you are done.

The fly can be fished a number of ways. Although I do best when fished in turbid water on the swing. Dead drifted in moderate current with a small dropper fly is another one of my favorites. Basically it is hard to mess this one up as long as it's on a good drift. Have fun!
