1. Extend wooden steps down to Dry Run Creek and/or add landing at the bottom of the steps.
2. Extend board walk across discharge from hatchery building and create access point to Dry Run Creek, so that people will not have to go to the top of the boardwalk and then go back down steps to the creek.
3. Construct or buy tables or benches so that parents or other individuals will have seating while the youngsters are fishing.
4. Be an advocate for the hatchery. Visitor Center, maintenance funding for drain lines etc.
5. Assist the hatchery with the fishing derby each year. (Measure fish, assist with registration, solicit donations and prizes, cook hot dogs and serve meals, etc.)
6. 50th Anniversary celebration of the hatchery.
7. Develop and print brochures for Friends Group.
8. Construct bridge over Dry Run Creek. (Needs to be run by the Corps of Engineers first).
9. Construct trail on East side of Dry Run Creek and extend fishing opportunities. (Needs to be run by the Corps of Engineers first).
10. Field Day for congressional staffers. Invite the local staffs to the hatchery for a guided tour, cook out, informal question and answer session.
11. Provide vending machines for fish feeders and soft drink machines.
