Orange & Grouse Soft Hackle

Hook: Mustad 3906 wet fly or similar
Body: Orange Pearsal Silk
Fur Collar: Light Hares Ear or bleached Australian Possum
Hackle: Gray/Brown Hungarian Partridge

I have used this mostly as a dropper with another fly at the point. Fish up and across and allow it to swing across downstream. Also used when trout are feeding in the film on Sulfurs. Grease the leader to one foot from the fly.
