Style / Make: TMC 100

1. Thread – Brown

2. Tail – Hare’s guard hair

3. Rib – Fine gold wire

4. Abdomen  – hare’s fur dubbing

5. Hackle – Grizzle cock hackle

6. Thorax – Hare’s fur

Tying Procedure:

1. Tie on calf tail appx. one third down the shank of the hook. Then secure it upright by winding wraps around alternating side around front to rear of shaft. Trim waste.

2. Take thread down shaft to point opposite the barb.

3. Tie in hares guard tail and gold wire.

4. Dub body hare fur up to upright calf tail fibers.

5. Counter wrap gold wire to this point, tie off and trim extra wire.

6. Tie on grizzle hackle at tip and wrap around calf hair fibers three times. Tie off hackle tip and trim excess.

7. Stroke hackle fibers back from eye. Dub on hares fur for thorax to the eye.

8. Tie off.
